"This place is so facinating!" Klemey said before taking a sip of her pina colada. Klemey, Angel, and Rai were sitting on the balcony of Chris Brown's penthouse in Vienna, Austria. Chris had known how much Vienna meant to Rai, so he figured he'd buy a large home and share it with her.
"Vienna has a way of bringing out the happiness that is stowed away in our hearts." Rai stated rather seriously. Lately, she's been hooked on figuring out "the meaning of life" and uncovering the mystery of "true happiness."
"Oh my god, just give it a rest Rai!" Angel was starting to get annoyed with Rai's philosophical sayings. "Can we just have one day without one of your useless quotes?" Angel downed the rest of her cosmo and shifted uncomfortably in her lawn chair. "And what is the deal with these chairs? They are harder than bricks!" They were white, wicker lawn chairs that had four legs and a high back that was curved into the top of a heart.
"What the crap is your problem Angel? There's nothing wrong with the chairs, maybe your 'short' dress is just too tight!" Klemey shouted. Angel studied her ourfit. She wore a meallic purple minidress that stopped abover her knees, a pair of black Gucci stilletos, and a chunky bright yellow necklace. "Whatever, I look amazing." Angel scoffed.
Rai rose from her chair and walked over the edge of the balcony and rested her arms on the railing. "So Klemey, how's everything going with Gubler? Rai asked casually trying to change the subject.
"oh, uhm, well...you see--" Klemey started to say but was interrupted by Michael Buble's 'Haven't Met You Yet'.
"Shoot, sorry, gotta take this!" Angel said scrambling through her Mulberry bag to retrieve her cell.
"Hey Baby!....oh. It's you. Yeah, she's here. Hold on. Rai?"
Rai looked up from her Gin and Tonic spritzer.
"For you."
Rai took the phone from Angel and said into it "Sorry, lemme get my phone!"
She gave the Blackberry Pearl back to Angel while she ran inside the house to get her iPhone. She seriously needed to keep that thing with her.
Once Rai was out of earshot, Angel leaned over to Klemey and said "Our plan is still on right?" Klemey glanced towards the door and replied "You know it." Angel gave Klemey an approving look as Rai came back outside a little breathless. "Ok, I'm back. Sorry Angel, Chris said it was important." Rai picked up her drink and called to Landon, the butler.
Landon, can you come here please?!"
Landon came out onto the balcony and Rai told him that since the three of them [Rai, Klemey, and Angel] were going to "Cotton", a hot new club in Vienna, that night, he could have the weekend off. "Ah, that's great! Thanks Rai!"
He turned his direction to the other girls, "Can I get you anything before I leave?" Angel replied "No, thank you. I'm good." As he shifted his gaze to Klemey,there was a slight breeze that starlted Rai and Angel. "Woah, that was so tandom!" Rai had said. "It's "Random" Rai, get your words straight!" Angel said laughing.
They were both still unaware of the eye-lock Landon and Klemey seemed to be in.
"Uhm, I'll have a glass of red wine, if that's alright." Klemey finally said.
Rai noticed she looked a bit flustered. "For you ma'am, anything." Landon said smoothly.
He took her glass and walked back into the house. Klemey liked the way he looked, the way he spoke, the way his shaggy hair waved in that sudden breeze, and the way his hand felt when he took her glass.
Klemey Dawn was in love.
Her thoughts shifted to Gubler for a moment, then she realized that Gubler isn't the one.
