"Rai, what are we doing?" Angel was sitting in the passenger seat of her car, the folder in her hands. "We're going to the City Hall to look at the public records!" Rai honked her horn as they blasted through the intersection. She was going 35 miles over the speed limit. Angel threw her hand too her mouth and held on to the edge of the dash board, the coffee and bagel from the cafe earlier wasn't sitting to well in her tummy now. "We'll go through all the public records and old newspapers even and find that guy!" Aaron Johnson. Rai and Angel had read every single scrap of paper that was in the crisp folder. Love notes, that's what was in it. Love notes between a man who went by Switzerland and a women they only knew as Baby Blue. The 20 or so notes in the folder revealed that Switzerland had broken up with his controlling and obsessive girlfriend, whose name was never mentioned, and that him and Baby Blue were planning to runaway together to Jamaica. It turned out that Switzerland's girlfriend was Baby Blue's boss and that Baby Blue and Switz were planning to steal $300,000 from her. At the end of the paper stack in the folder was an envelope that had been ripped open. Inside was a airplane ticket, for a one way flight to Jamaica. The ticket had been made out to Aaron Johnson, and that was how Angel and Rai had gotten a hold of Switzerland's real name. Now they just had to find out how he was connected to Klemey and the red headed women. Rai worked at the same accounting firm as Klemey so she would've known if Klemey was Baby Blue, their boss was a gay man named Timmy who loves salsa dancing and blond highlights. Plus, Klemey was definitely not the kind of girl who would steal $300,000. Well, on second thought there was the whole counting cards in Vegas....Rai recalled, but that had been to bail out their boyfriends. Rai's face frowned when she remembered Gubler. "That douchebag..." Rai muttered to herself as she tail-whipped the car into the parking lot. Her and Angel were already in the building when her phone buzzed off. 'Incoming Call' the screen flashed from inside her purse. Chris' personal ring tone blared through the speaker, but Rai didn't hear it. Her purse was still and the dash of the car. The screen flashed 'New Message'.
Still in their ongoing kiss Klemey ran her hands through Matthew's hair. He smoothly flicked the old quilt off of them, sending it flying into the dusty floor. Then he placed his hand on her hip and pulled himself on top of her, using his other hand to balance his weight. Klemey was enjoying this kiss. She was enjoying Matthew holding her. She was enjoying where this was going. Then suddenly his lips were gone. "Umph!" Matthew grunted as he landed on the floor. A tall beefy bald white man was now towering over Klemey. He had grabbed Matthew by the collar and thrown him across the room, he had landed on the quilt. "Time to go!" The man beltched out. He grabbed her and threw her over his shoulder. "Let go of me!" Klemey slammed her fist against his back and tried kneeing him in the chest. He wasn't even phased. He began climbing the ladder to the open hatch in the ceiling. "MATTHEW!!!" Klemey screamed. "Argh..." Matthew rubbed his head while wobbling to his feet. He blinked and anger filled him visibly when he saw the thick man throwing Klemey out of the hatch door. "You son of a bit..." Matthew was up the ladder in seconds, but the beefy man was still faster. Klemey rolled onto her stomach and tried to reach down for Matthew. The man yanked her back and punched Matthew squarely in the face. "NO!!!" Klemey watched as he fell back into the room, unconscious. The man shut the hatch door and out a pad lock onto it. He turned his big dumb face to her. "She wants you." He pointed a big red sausage like finger to a door behind her. Klemey looked around her not getting up, they were in a house that was under construction. The walls weren't finished and clear plastic sheeting was stapled up in certain places. "GO! NOW!" The man roared, scaring Klemey. She got up and walked to the door, the man followed. The room they entered was a small bedroom. It was completely finished and furnished. A queen size bed perfectly made with blood red sheets was to the left of the entrance. A small nightstand beside it supplied the only light source for the room, a tiny glass lamp. The carpet was shaggy and slightly darker than the sheets. The walls were a deep brown. "So...." Klemey jumped at the sound of the woman's voice. She was sitting in the darkest corner of the room, in a plush recliner. The bright red orange of her hair burned at Klemey's eyes. "This time you are going to tell me what I want to know." The woman stood up and nodded to the man. "Derek..." The man came up behind Klemy and grabbed her arms, tying them with the same plastic banding as before. Then he swung her onto the bed and grabbed her right foot. "Let go!!!!" Klemey went to kick him with her other foot and got him straight in the face. "OW! You bitch!" The man grabbed her other foot and tied them together. He groaned as a trickle of blood came out of his nostril. He swung the back of his hand across Klemey;s cheek. The pain shot throughout her face and centered around her eye. "That was for Matthew, you idiotic jackass!" Klemey glared at him and sat up as best she could. "Shut up!" The woman yelled. "God damn it!" Her fists were clenched. "Wasting my time! Tell me where the folder is!!!" Klemey looked at the woman confused. "I don't know what the hell you want bitch!!!!" Klemey was furious. "Three whole weeks! Three whole weeks I have kept you alive!" She was shaking now. "Tell me where Aaron's folder is!" Klemey just tightened her jaw and deadlocked her stare into the woman. "Derek, sedate her!" Derek stepped up from the door. "Ummm...." He scratched at the back of his bald head. "Maybe that's why we haven't been able to get an answer out of them for weeks, ma'am." He looked scared of her. "You know you might be sedating them to much...She needs a clear mind to remember where the folder is..." The woman just looked at him in disbelief. "You dumbass...Don't you ever tell me what to do!" She pulled out a knife from her pocket and violently slammed it against the dresser next to her. She closed her eyes and breathed for a few seconds, then looked at Klemey. "Listen, you are going to tell me where Aaron's folder is now!!!" She grabbed the knife and leaned in toward Klemey. "Or...I'll kill him..." Klemey knew she was talking about Matthew. "I..." Klemey growled. "Will never lat that happen!!!" Then Klemey spit in the woman's face. "AHHHHHHHH!!!!!" The woman was just completely shaking with anger. She wiped her face. "GET THAT WHORE OUT OF HERE!!!!" Derek grabbed Klemy once again over his shoulder. "Wait!" The woman walked up to Klemey. "When I get back...." She smiled a sinister smile. "I am going to slit his throat right in front of you." She walked through the door. Klemey listened as the woman's heels clacked against the wooden floor, then a door opened and slammed shut, then a car started and wheeled off. Klemey knew she was dead serious. "Faaaa-Uck!!!" Kelemy yelled as Derek threw her down the hatch still tied up. She landed awkwardly on her feet. She heard a sickening snap and felt the pain immediately shoot up her leg. Her ankle had snapped. "Haha." Derek laughed as he shut the hatch. "YOU BASTARD!!!" Klemey yelled her ankle already swelling. "Klemey!" Matthew was at her side. "What did they do to you?" His face full of worry, then anger at the sight of her bruised cheek. "I'll kill'em!" His teeth clenched. "Matthew my ankle's broken..." Tears were brimming her eyes from the pain. "Here..." Matthew slid his arms around her, one under her knees and the other under her back. He picked her up and carried her to the mattress. He gently set her down and grabbed the quilt, even more carefully placed that around her. "She wants a folder..." Klemey began to tell him. "Some guy's, Aaron Johnson's folder..." She shook her head. "I have no idea what she's talking about..." She began to cry as the pain and fear overwhelmed her. "Matthew," She was growing faint. "She's going to kill us!" Klemey reached out for him, but fainted from the pain before she could get to him.
