Okay so this is Rai's Edward and Jacob Comparisons list...yes we're dorks like that, making serious comparisons between fictional characters....

Body Temperature:Jacob: Bella has always talked about how she was cold and then his warm body heat made her feel better and all that. She made it pretty clear that she was comfortable in his arms and with him around her.

And it’s a known fact that she loves the heat. I mean in Twilight, she spent am entire day out in the sun, she loved Phoenix, and she’s always complaining about how cold she is in Forks.
Edward: Whenever they kissed she would say something like ‘and he pressed his icy lips to mine’, and I’m sitting her trying to figure out how that is comfortable or even attractive, you know what I mean? Plus, I don’t even remember her saying anything about how nice it was in his cold arms.
Danger:
Jacob: Sure, everyone says that they should be careful around the wolf pack because of what Sam did to Emily, but all he would do is leave some scars. It’s Jacob’s job to kill vampires and only vampires.

Edward: Edward is not normal. This is true because all of the Cullens have chosen a certain life-style that is unnatural. But it’s in their nature to kill humans and drink human blood. What makes you think Edward won’t snap? After all, he said himself that he has a serious temper problem.
Promises:
Jacob: Jacob always tries his very best to keep his promises he made to Bella. He even tells her that he is trying, or he calls himself out in front of her and says “I just broke my promise didn’t I?” At least he recognizes his issues and tries to fix them.

Edward: Sure he came back and told Bella that he will never leave her and she is his only reason for living. But let the record show, that Edward hurt Bella very badly. She wasn’t herself after he left. She put her life in DANGER just to see his disappearing face and hear his lying voice. I mean, he left her when she was so certain that he was going to ask her to go away with him after the whole Jasper incident.
Human characteristics:
Jacob: He was human before he joined the wolf pack. But he still eats like a human, and sleeps like a human. Things he can do with Bella that are normal. She even said it was nice to have a friend who was partly human. I think this was a great start to having her “human life” as Edward pointed out he wanted for her. He claims that that was his motivation for leaving her.

Edward: You have to agree that Bella can’t feel too normal or comfortable when the Cullens have to slow their pace, or wait for her to eat, or wait for her to sleep. She even mentioned how some of them would act impatient while they walked at her human speed. But I think it’s pretty sad that she has to go to sleep knowing that Edward wants to hang and talk with her but she needs her rest. So he just sits there and watches her sleep like some kind of stalker. Some people may find that cute or sweet, but I think it’s just creepy.
Being there for Bella:
Jacob: He has always been there for Bella since Edward left. He even brought up to Bella how he noticed how unhappy she was and he said he would never hurt her. He saved her twice while Edward was away. If he hadn’t, she would have been gone forever.

Edward: Sure he saved her a few times before too. But that was his job as her boyfriend with special abilities . He neglected his job when he left her, in the woods, at night, while lying to her. But he should’ve known that Victoria would still be out there. I don’t care if he never really “heard” her plot Bella’s death, or “heard” Victoria’s feelings for James. I mean he killed someone she hung out with, whether they were mates or not, she knew and spent time with him.
Bella becoming a vampire:
Jacob: If Bella chooses to become a vampire, then they all will be killed by Jacob’s pack. Because as he stated in the end, if a Cullen BITES a human, the treaty is off and the killing begins.

Edward: If Bella becomes a vampire, he will no longer have to deal with the challenge of not sucking her blood anymore. But what does it matter if they all die anyways?

The moment I read this I saw several flaws...and I wrote a response of some length.....

Ummm, EXCUSE ME!!!! Rai Rai Rai.....(imagine me shaking my head while saying that)...but your comparison is seriously flawed....Of course you haven't read all the books so maybe you shouldn't read my response BUT I can not help myself I have to correct you.... Body Temp.-Jacob is just an over heated boy who would just make Bella sweat and smell like bad B.O. and Edward can't help that he's like freezing he's a freaking vampire!!! And obviously Bella doesn't have a single prob. with his body temp. cuz she's not doing a damn thing about it....is she? He's the one who makes her go wild Jacob on the other hand when it comes to kissing only made Bella punch him, ultimately braking her wrist...what a dumb as* move.... Danger- Oh my God, seriously? Your saying Jacob's NOT dangerous...listen to yourself for one second..."Sure, everyone says that they should be careful around the wolf pack because of what Sam did to Emily, but all he would do is leave some scars"....Did you see Emily's face at all during New Moon or was Jacob's body distracting you? I think Jacob could possibly lose his temper and swipe her throat, that would cause her to die Rai...and so much for just some little scars....Ha. Ha. (sarcastic laugh). And don't you even dare say that Edward has a temper problem without seriously considering the fact that your dear boy Jacob has one to! I mean he totally freaked out on Mike in the movies in the movie and treated Bella like a dick when he became a were-wolf, plus there are a lot of times in the books where Bella describes how he always began to shake/vibrate like crazy when he's mad....While Edward on the other hand never unjustly became angry...Take the part in Twilight for instance, where she was almost gang raped. He had the right to be pissed off, probably even more than he showed...I mean it takes A LOOOOOT of control to have to see what those men wanted to do to the one he loved, I for one am amazed he didn't ripped every single one of their heads off...And when has he ever actually slipped up on his vow never to drink human blood? The saving of Bella in Twilight excluded. You need to read the first chapter of Edward version of the Twilight story (it's probably posted on the authors website), he wanted to kill her the first moment he met her (before he got to know her) and it took some serious control not to...I mean he even thought of killing every body in the classroom just to have her blood...but he didn't did he? No.
Promises- Just because you recognize the fact that you broke your promise doesn't exactly make the fact that you did it any better....And as for Edward leaving let me ask you, do you UNDERSTAND why he did that? At all? He did it because he didn't want to accidently hurt her one day because of what he is...Self sacrifice...you don't see Jacob leaving her to protect her, but instead staying with her even though he might rip her head off he he get a little to mad. Edward thought Bella would be better without him so he left even though it just about killed him inside. And it's not his fault that after he left Bella did some moronic things just to see a hallucination of him (OH! just used psychology)....She's the idiot to blame for that not Edward...
Human Characteristics- Stalker, really? That was a low blow, I think we're all thankful your not Bella. Everybody in a relationship has to deal with their partners characteristics that don't exactly fit their own life, Bella knew before she started a serious relationship with Edward that he was really different. I bet the 'ones' who sounded impatient while walking with Bella was in all reality only Rosalie. Clue for you Rai Rosalie isn't exactly fond of Bella at all. And have you read the meadow part of Twilight? Edward was as patient and sweet as ever while Bella took her precious [human] time walking.
Being there for Bella- This is all bull crap. Simple as that. When did Jacob save her? The time she jumped off the cliff was the only time...And anyone, not just Jacob, could've seen she wasn't exactly happy after Edward left!!!! DUH!!!! She was clearly depressed. And I reallllly like how you make a big deal of the supposably two times Jacob saved Bella, but when it comes to Edward you say oh sure he saved her a few times...PUH-Lease!!!! Give him his credit! And the future isn't set in stone so how was he suppose to know that Victoria would be the b*tch from hell? Yeah he could've guessed, he came back in the end to protect Bella.
Bella As A Vamp.- Ha, I think that treaty is a freakin' joke, I mean Edward already bit Bella. She has the proof in the form of a scar on her hand!!! And I don't see them attacking the Cullen's. Jacob was just hiding behind the treaty, because he knew Bella would've never picked him. Ever. As stated it was always Edward.
Klemey's Take on the Twilight Saga: I like the ending...because everyone was happy. Jacob imprinted on Nessie...I seriously wish love was like that, all I would have to do is imprint and I'd be good for life...And Bella and Edward will live happily ever after....But I do think there were several problems in the books. I mean think about it how come Bella never had her period? And based on the question how could Jasper survive in high school with all those girls on their periods without killing someone if not a dozen? And how does Bella's mother ever find out about her being vampire?

Haha wow...I was like bending over all serious when I was writing that....Jacob SUCKS!!! Sorry Rai..but I can't help how I feel....
