Bennet After Venice.
Gubler looked at Klemey, both were still laying on the floor in what was apparently a storage room for the club. The night had been long, too long. "This was crazy. Wasn't it?" He turned his eyes back to the darkened ceiling. Klemey thought about it, "Yes. You know it is all your fault...The fight, the cops, having to hide, me getting knocked out." Gubler smiled. "I know." Klemey moved her arms behind her head to get a little more comfortable. "About that..." Gubler started. "I just wanna say sorry. I have been one of the biggest ass holes in the world to you. I've insulted you, made a mess of your night, and just been a big douche bag..." Klemey just blinked. "You have..." He shifted to lean on his elbow while looking at her again. "Can we be friends? Purdy-Please?" He held out his hand. Klemey smiled, "Yes, I think I would like that." She took his hand and shook it. "And I am sorry to for how things turned out between us...Landon, the kidnapping, all that crap..." He just shook his head. "All in the past, lets just move on." Just then her phone blared off, surprising her. She had forgotten it was on her. "Hello?" She spoke into it. "Klemey! Where are you?" It was Angel. "We're outside the club about to get in a cab...Tell me you're not still in there!" Klemey sat up. "Yeah, we are." The phone muffled as Angel got in the car. "What!?! Get your ass outta there! The cops are still there! Jeeesh! What are you doing?" Klemey looked behind her. There was a door just past a pile of boxes with one of the neon green 'Exit' signs blinking faintly behind it. "We're leaving now..." Klemey shut her phone and pushed herself off the floor. "Come on. We gotta go." She looked down at Gubler and held out her hand to help him up. Due to his drunkenness he took a few seconds to stand. "Here put your arm here." She wrap his arm around her shoulder and helped him balance against her. Then the slowly made their way toward the door. Klemey sighed, finally this night would be over...They stumbled out into an alley way. Police sirens where sounding in the distance, so Klemey figured they had came out to the back of the club. There were bits of torn newspaper and cardboard spread out all over the street and the sounds of cars passing were coming from the right of them. "So what now?" Gubler said, standing more on his own now that he had gotten some fresh air. "Now we get a cab and get the hell outta here..." Klemey chuckled, pulling her phone out. Just as she finished dialing someone whistled loudly. She looked up and almost didn't believe her eyes. There standing at the end of the alley, by his parked mo-ped, and wearing the same faded red jacket he had had on when she first met him at the Rialto in Venice was the man who had left her standing at the top of a stair case speechless.
