So today in Criminology we had a guest speaker from Devry.

UAA is cheapest, but I would love to go to Idaho.
So I'm just going over the pros and cons...

Pros:
I am OUTTA here.
New experiences.
I'd actually be stepping out of my boxed life.

Cons:
I'd be on my own.
Which means I'd need an apartment, or dorm.
That's definitely mo'dough!
I'd be in unfamiliar territory.

I don't know.
I think I'll just shoot for everything and see what I land.
Gotta go to that scholarship lady this week.
Can't Friday, Recycling...
Can't Tuesday or Thursday, depending on when Key Club is...
And I need one to throw a Name Ceremony for BamBam and them during lunch...
So it'll probably be tomorrow...

College Life.

Ain't no joke.
First thing Residence had Jaime do was sign this sheet detailing all the rules and regulations of alcohol in the dorm.
Basically I read it (to myself) and Jaime signed it. Lol
I always knew her friend Becka, but we actually hung out for the first time and that chick is pure humor.
But Jaime's Room Attendant told us this story of her friend's former roommates.
These girls made some sort of chart to document how many guys they slept with. And this chart included every single used condom.
Sick.
I know.
I was thinking "What kind of place IS this?!?"
And yes, that was at our beloved UAA.

But while I was building the bookcase, we decided to have a little party and we played music from Becka's iPod, and then Jaime's Peer Mentor knocked on the door and told us that we need to remember for the future that quiet hours are from sometime to whatever, and then courtesy hours are whenever to whatever. We didn't really pay attention because we didn't really care hahaha
But she's really nice! I recognized her from West and she said she recognized me too =]

Anyways, I haven't seen any SUPER good-looking guys yet. I'm just waiting to run into Sweetheart in the lobby.

I'm A Lazy Dancer.

So I am kind of...
really tired.

I haven't gotten a lot of sleep the last few days.

'Cuz I closed Concessions Saturday,
and I didn't get to sleep until 3 am that night.
Only to get up at 8:40 Sunday morning...

Then I didn't go to sleep yesterday (well, more like this morning) until 6 am.

I stayed up talking to Ray-Ray.

From 12 am to 6am.

That is my longest phone call all summer.

It was funny 'cuz we were asking each other all these questions...
Like 'Would You Rather...?' questions...

Anyways, we need to finalize the fair plans.
I need times for when we're going...
I gotta ask for that day off...
I need a guess-timation
on how much dough I should have...
'Cuz with Friday's paycheck I have...

1.) Pay my phone bill...
2.) Save $120 for Cali.
3.) Buy a pair of jeans...

Then whatever is left over is for the fair...

Oh, and I guess gas money for my pops.

I really hope he gets a job soon.

August 24th..

is going to be the very first day I vote in my life.

And there are some serious issues being voted on.

So I'm mainly torn on Number 2.

I see signs all over the roads that say both VOTE YES ON 2 and VOTE NO ON 2

As of right now, the law says its OKAY for a girl under the age of 18 to have an abortion without her parents' notice. (Not permission, but just them KNOWING what she is doing.)

Now number 2 is to CHANGE this law and make it REQUIRED for the parents to know about abortions.

Scenario 1:

You've got a promiscuous 16 year old girl who sleeps with a lot of guys and one day she finds herself pregnant. (For all we know, she could've been in this situation before and had an abortion under the current law)

My opinion: I feel that girls who act like this shouldn't be able to get away with everything. I feel that her parents have a right to know what she's been doing and the outcome of that. After all, she is still a minor.

Scenario 2:

You've got a 16 year old girl in a small village or town who gets raped. She doesn't feel that she should have to go through this pregnancy, but KNOWS her parents do NOT approve of abortions for any reason. If she gets an abortion under the current law, she will be protected and safe.

My opinion: I think this girl has a choice of her pregnancy at such a young age, but if her parents found out about her decision to get an abortion and they are extremely upset, they could kick her out of the house or even harm her.

So as of right, I am going to leave this one blank because I have opinions for each answer.

Blah.

But if you could please give me your opinions and tell me what you would vote for if you could, that would be great. =]

So I had an AMAZING time in Seward.

I met new people and learned a lot about them.

Had fun with Ankal on the cruise!

Haha we went to this island called Fox Island and had a great lunch there.

It was yummy. =]

Ohh and I reconnected with 4 girls from West!

And yes, they did mention how I was supposed to be an Eagle

Hahaha

But Jaime is back from Idaho!

Now, this is my last week as a college- bound student.

Summer is officially over for moi.

Now I have to get clothes for school (anyone wanna come and help?), pick up my textbooks, and go to the Freshman Convection next Saturday! Woohoo! Live music, food (which I can't eat..darnit), and vendor booths!

I also need to check out Jaime's dorm!

Eek!

I also need to look for my classes..

part of our trip included a campus tour but I didn't bring my schedule!

So now I have to go back and look for myself haha

But I feel as though I am in a happy place.

The trip was better than I expected (my plan workedd!) and it was awesome!

And I have to admit...there are some interesting characters in that place they call Seward..

but we all had a heart attack when we saw Subway!

We were like YAYYYYYY!!!!

Cuz I already asked for the day off and I don't want it to be cancelled for any reason...

By the way..

I've learned some new things.

For example: For every hour I spend in class, I am expected to study 3 hours. So I have a total of..16 hours..omg...that means I have to study for at least...48 hours...I currently have 47.5 hours outside of work and school. And yes, I plan on studying at all hours of the night lol

a pretty good movie.
I just loved Micheal Cera as a bad ass.

Part Two: Under Inspection.

So this is the other stuff that happened yesterday...
I was just too tired to type about it last night...

1.) Bones' mum came to the theater last night.
The manager, who's name I honestly don't know, called over the radio for him,
and told him his mum was there...
She doesn't really look like him...
I thought that was worth mentioning.

2.) This guy, whose ticket I ripped, asked me if SweetHeart was working.
He called him by his first name.
And when I told him no,
he was like 'Sh*t!'...
I thought that was really weird.
Hmmmm...

3.) An employee, who was off, came in...
to see a movie and he only had 2 passes...
He gave them to his brother and sister...
Then winked at me and walked in too.
So I think I basically let him sneak into the movie.
I'm sure though he could've just asked for 3...
It's not like we were hectically busy.

4.) I saw Burrito.
Right when I got on, he came out of theater 8.
He ordered a large soda (which made me think of how I do that),
and then went back to his movie.
Which was Despicable Me.
It was weird when he came out...
He was with BookWorm.
They came out and were walking my way.
I waved and she waved back.
Then as they passed I said hi,and she replied but he didn't.
I really think that was on purpose.
He just walked right by...And went to Guest Service.
They both stood there for awhile talking to the lady manager whose name I don't know.
I won't lie, I was watching them outta the corner of my eye.
He took his hair down.
Then after a couple of minutes they came and talked to me.
He surprised me by actually talking to me...
He told me about how he wanted to walk home, it was raining.
I told him about how we (me and you, Rai) had walked.
He said he would like to walk in the rain.
I said that's always fun...
Then I asked if they liked the movie.
She said she did.
He said he loved it.
She said Gru reminded her of him.
Then I thought about how she must really know him.
Unlike me.
Then they left.

5.) I saw Pointer!
Haha, Angel do you remember who Pointer is?
Long time since we talked about him.
He came in with Stacy and a lot of other kids from East.

6.) Mr. Inception (a.k.a. VP as Rai has called him).
Hopefully, y'all know who I'm talking about...
But he came in with a friend..
And I was like, 'Oh, God...'
'Cuz I knew he was gonna give me crap about calling him.
See I don't think I told you guys, but last time I saw him...
We were in the breakroom together and I showed him my phone...
And he was all like you should call me sometime...
And he put his # in my contacts (even though I already had it).
All I said was I would consider it.
Then he asked who was on my background,
(haha, you know it's Gubler of course!)
I told him it was my husband...
Anyways, then when I saw him yesterday he was all like...
You never called me.
I told him I was still considering it...
Then he was all like do it or I'm gonna hug you right now...
I was like hugs don't affect me.
So he hugged me, right there in the lobby.
I was like, oh my goodness.
Then him and his friend went to their movie.
After they're movie (which was Dinner For Schmucks or The Other Guys)
was out he came up to me again with his friend.
And we started talking about the movie...
Then he said they had to go...
He was like call me when you get off!
I just told him I'd consider it.
And his friend went, "Man, just give it up!'
I sighed and said fine.

And I did.
Well, I texted him.
So we were texting for awhile last night.
We just talked about how our days were.
Then he called me...Around 1:30-ish...
And we talked.
He asked if I could go to a movie around 7 today...
I said maybe, but most likely not...
And I didn't.
We didn't talk for long, he had to go to sleep.
He works at Lowe's I think...
Anyways, this is like the 3rd time he's asked me to go somewhere with him,
and the 3rd time I haven't.
See the day we were in the breakroom we had both just gotten off,
he asked me if I would go to IHop with him for brunch.
I told him I couldn't.
Also, he texted 'Good morning!' to me.
And we texted each other randomly throughout the day.
He called me things like 'love', 'hun', and 'toots' in his texts...
Then he tried calling me but I ignored it 'cuz we were watching the
videos we rented.
He hasn't really texted me since around 7...

I don't want anything to go down between us.
The dude's 19 for Pete's sake...
And he's got a bad history according to Maria.

Just agh.

Oh, when he called me last night,
he told me he thought I was cute...
and that he liked me laugh, and smile...
Crap like that.

Agh, again.

I haven't told my mum or sister about him.

He's nice, but what if he's expecting something from me...

7.) I just thought this was worth mentioning, AT&T was working.

8.) I actually talked to that Nessa chick.
She's actually pretty chill.

9.) Mr. Sans came to see a movie.
And the way he was dressed, hell I would be attracted to him...
All skater-ish...With decent skater shoes.
Just let me say, he did not look like a kid.

10.) This lady came in, and turns out she was like
my mum's cousin.
She was all like 'Are you Nisty's daughter?'


And I think that's it...
Hmmm, interesting...
So much happened in one night.
I made a mental check list of everything I wanted to say...
I just hope I remembered them all...
